Parking is a bit tricky, you can park on Lake or in the lake lots across the street south of this location. There is also a small 15 minute pickup area parking in the alley and a parking structure I believe Coffee is fantastic no matter what you get and pricing structure makes it very easy to order; wish there were more locations!

A standard big chain coffee shop. I don’t drink coffee so tried a muffin, and it was a great blueberry muffin. There’s plenty of cozy seating to get work done or just have a chill time. The staff are nice and friendly. The entire plaza has a really nice ambiance.

Coffee is not a phase, it’s a lifestyle. That being said let’s start this fantastic review. Philz Coffee is a franchise company coffeehouse located within The Common Plaza in Pasadena. They specialize in customized coffee blends, made from sustainably sourced green beans from around the world, and skillfully roasted in their roasting facility in Oakland, CA. We have never tried this coffee franchise before but to our surprise they exceeded our expectation. They have a good and interesting coffee blends. I had a hot Philtered Soul, a medium & balanced blend of hazelnut, maple and caramel. It was bloody PERFECT in taste and aroma. To top it off, I added a fresh flaky Chocolate Croissant. Service was on point despite its multiple orders from local customers. Interior atmosphere was chill. Free wifi. Prices were competitive and fair. Staff were competent and professional. Overall, it’s a nice coffee shop and definitely recommend. I shall return.

I love the coffee and the celebration of diversity and inclusion here. 😄🏳️🌈 In addition, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Mocha Tesora (Dark Chocolate, Caramel, Cocoa. Base level is light sweet), which can be ordered with any lactose free milks as well as decaf if necessary. Plus, this drink literally drips with perfection from beginning to end.

This Pasadena location was 2 years old . Philz personalized 30 unique blends and wanted to make sure the coffee making process embodied a personal and social feel, so he designed his own coffee station allowing for every cup to be crafted one cup at a time. This location is awesome , Philz supports local artist to allow them to display their artworks in his store.. When you walk in to the store, you can smell the coffee, enjoy the varieties of the bread and loving in this artistic environment.

Mint mojito iced coffee made “the house way” is the best. Such a classic with the creamy sweet flavor topped off well with minty freshness!! I am lactose but this drink doesn’t affect my stomach. I haven’t come here in awhile but it didn’t disappoint and tasted amazing like it always does! It’s hard for me to try another flavor cause the mint tastes too good!! The customer service was great, especially the barista gentleman who made our drink. He was very friendly and told us to take a sip before in case we wanted any changes before leaving. But it was perfect and no change needed! It’s always busy inside here but there are also outdoor seats if you need a quieter spot. Parking is free at the plaza across (with a time limit of course). Pricing here is average. $5.50 something for a small.

I’m so glad I found this place! It is so cute and I love that their cold drinks are in typical “hot drink” cups. It actually makes drinking coffee without a straw way more accessible. Their cold brew was yum as well as their plant based breakfast sandwich. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

Great customer service . So many places to sit and clean restrooms. Lots of parking nearby and the locations is great. So many shops and restaurants nearby. Very delicious 🤤 coffee and treat . I can’t wait to come back .

Just had the most amazing experience at Philz! If you're looking for a perfect hot mocha and a delicious bacon breakfast burrito, this is the place to go! The coffee was just what I needed on this chilly day and the burrito was fresh and satisfying. The staff was so friendly and the service was quick despite the crowd. The restrooms were clean and designed for everyone. Overall, a great spot to grab a bite when you're in a rush.
